Exciting Times

Ava and I have been taking full advantage of the nice weather we have been having. We try to take as many walks as we can. It keeps her occupied and it gets us out of the house for a while. The next two pictures are of Ava enjoying the weather and sporting her new hat.

The next two pictures are of Jonathan playing with Ava. This was right before bed time. Let's just say that Jonathan doesn't quite understand that we are suppose to get her to wind down for bed time. I guess that's what dad's do.

And now, what you've all been waiting for...Ava has cut her first tooth! And yes, she will be 4 months on Thursday and has a tooth coming through. It must have broken through last night. We were completely shocked as I'm sure most of you are. Now looking back on it, she has shown signs of teething. We just thought she was too young for it to actually be true. This picture is kind of sad to see her like this, but she really has been a trooper through it all. (Tylenol helps by the way)
*My friend, Catherine, has posted some pictures on her blog of her daughter Sophie and Ava having play time together. I thought you all might enjoy seeing pictures of Ava and her friend. Just click on the link to the left under Friends that says "The Parks Family".

She is absolutely GORGEOUS! And I love the summer hat...I am so sad that boys don't have cute accessories, so next you see us if Hank has a bow in his hair, you'll know why!

love the out side pics. sawyer loves outside too. and it is totally something about daddys getting babies all worked up before bed. michael does that to sawyer right before bed too. and then i have to fight him to go to sleep. cool about the tooth. they say girls are faster then boys. sawyer just cut his first tooth on thursday and he's nine months old.

that's cool about the dental assistant thing. i did know that about you. i want to eventually stay home with little guy but for now i am working three days a week. it's not to bad. my boss is great and i love the girls that i work with. i think that sarah kate worked as a dental assistant in ga too. or maybe it was with insurance in a dental office. i really like the job and would love to work again once kids are in school but my desire now is to stay at home. hopefull that will happen soon. love checking your blog out and finding out what going on with you guys. ava is adorable. i love seeing the pics that you guys are posting.
